HEALTH SPENDING ACCOUNT

A health care spending account (HCSA) is a cost-effective way to provide an alternative to traditional group health insurance. An employer needs to pay only the claim amount, plus a fixed fee, and taxes. There’s no monthly premium. Some companies set up an HCSA on a stand-alone basis, while other companies use it to supplement their existing benefit plans, which allow for greater flexibility for their employees. The ability to take personal expenses and make them into corporate deductions, also makes an HCSA a very attractive tool for business owners.
